Vivedus Pty Ltd was registered as a for-profit company on 5 March 2024. The company has 13 shareholders with a total investment is $800,000. That money was raised within 24 hours, such is the belief in the Vivedus team and what we have created.
Vivedus held its official launch on 24 May 2024 at our office, 1 Pier Avenue. The news was shared on the Educator Online and on LinkedIn. Several schools attended the launch, as did our investors and supporters. Messages of congratulations and excitement for what Vivedus will bring to education were received from people around the world.
The software development team (three people) and Research and Development team (three people) have been researching tirelessly to ensure the platform is compliant with every Australian State Education Department as well as ACARA and the AITSL Professional Standards.
We have partnered with the Blue Knot Foundation to donate a percentage of profits to their work to support victims of sexual abuse. We have also partnered with the team at the Assessment Research Centre at the Graduate School of Education, the University of Melbourne, to develop the assessment instruments to measure creative intelligence.
Even though we have only just launched, we are already in discussions with two schools who are keen to partner with us to “take learning beyond.” We hope to announce who these two schools are in the next few months. Onboarding of these schools will begin in August in readiness for the 2025 school year.
