On the ground, Paul and Gabrielle have been on the road, meeting with school leaders and supporting implementation, while our Development Team continues to enhance the Platform, integrate additional curricula, and onboard new schools.
In Armidale, Paul and Gabrielle presented to the senior leadership team at Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC). We look forward to sharing news of a formal partnership soon. They also met with the principal and Director of Teaching and Learning at The Armidale School, before spending three days in Gunnedah onboarding the senior staff of Carinya Christian School.
The response from Carinya has been overwhelmingly positive:
“It will really inspire and invigorate our staff and learners. I like how it helps build the layers of reasoning behind the lessons to focus the learning on creative thinking.”
“The capacity to draw a teacher’s planning from theory into practice... is what excites me.”
“I want to see the transformation in my staff as they develop in confidence, change their teaching, and learn with us and the children.”
“The thinking behind Vivedus, the whole-ness of this model—I love that! It feels like our whole school will be united, not just in programming, but in thinking.”
From there, Paul made a quick turnaround to travel to Cloncurry, where he led the Compelling Leadership workshop for Townsville Catholic Education’s Aspiring Leaders’ Program.
A standout moment this month was a meeting with Queensland’s Minister for Education, The Hon. John-Paul Langbroek, who was eager to hear how Vivedus is transforming learning, saving teachers time, and giving school leaders powerful data to grow the practice of every teacher. We thank him for his interest and support.
We rounded out the week by welcoming back the team from Albany Creek State High School. They spent the day deepening their understanding of the Vivedus Framework and creating unit plans for the term ahead.
Next week we head back to NSW to present to a school and then fly to Sydney for EduTech.
