When you're ready to plan a Unit Overview, head straight to ViV-iT.
For first-time users: The "What's Next?" approach
We've included pre-populated prompts in the ViV-iT window to make getting started effortless. For your first two- or three-Unit Overviews, we strongly recommend using the "What'snext?" prompt each time.
This allows ViV-iT to coach you step-by-step through creating a Unit Overview using the ViVEDUS approach to planning. You'll quickly become familiar with the framework while still producing high-quality planning documents.
As You Gain Confidence
Once you're comfortable with the process, you can start giving ViV-iT more specific instructions tailored to your needs. The more you use it, the more efficient and personalised your planning becomes.
Beyond Unit Planning: Lessons, homework, and resources
ViV-iT doesn't stop at Unit Planning.It supports you throughout your entire planning workflow.
Creating individual lessons
When you're ready to develop lessons, you have two options:
- Manually design a lesson using the ViVEDUS lesson template; or,
- Use ViV-iT with simple instructions like, "create a 60-minute lesson for me"
ViV-iT will generate a fully differentiated lesson plan aligned with your Unit Overview and curriculum objectives.
Generating homework
Need meaningful homework tasks?ViV-iT can generate homework activities that reinforce your lesson objectives and extend student learning.

Click on the Resources tab in your lesson creation window, and ViV-iT will generate classroom-ready materials you can use immediately—worksheets, discussion prompts, visual aids, and more.
